Scholarship Opportunities

NJBTA supports the pursuit of professional certification through the National Business Travel Association’s programs and educational offerings. Due to our affiliation with NBTA, NBTA Foundation (formerly the Institute of Business Travel Management) and the CPC (Chapter President’s Council) we are able to offer educational scholarships for a variety of programs in addition to our local NJBTA Scholarships.

Each year NJBTA awards full scholarships to NBTA’s annual convention. The scholarships cover air, hotel, and convention registration expenses.

NJBTA raises money through a Silent Auction at our annual Trade Show with the purpose of awarding scholarship grants.  These funds assist members with educational opportunities that will enhance their business travel expertise.  

NJBTA Scholarship opportunities for 2010 include:
     1-year membership in NJBTA  - Open to Allied & Direct Members.
     Convention Registration for NBTA Convention & Trade Show
        - Direct Members only.
     First Year NBTA Membership 
        - Direct Membership or Allied Umbrella Membership.
     $500 Grant for CCTE Elective or GLP Program
        - Open to Allied & Direct Members.

NBTA Foundation (formerly IBTM)
An affiliate of NBTA, the IBTM, offers several educational scholarship opportunities  to a variety of programs, including those listed above and independent studies.

Chapter Presidents Council
CPC scholarship grants are awarded to qualified individuals to pursue involvement in the education programs or membership within the National Business Travel Association. Scholarships include:  NBTA membership, convention registration, CCTE (Certified Corporate Travel Executive) program and GLP (Global Leadership Program).
